The training is designed to bring expertise among the participants in the Arc- GIS. The course will be held as a two way interaction between student and tutor . In this program participants will learn about different GIS tools and functions as well as they will learn the particular applications that are essential for engineers.

– Performing spatial analysis using Raster Algebra
– Terrain analysis ( Slope, aspect, View shed, X-section, L-Section)
– Watershed Modeling (Correction for DEM, Flow Direction, Seek Computation,)
– Watershed delineation,slope analysis ,catchment area calculation
– Reservoir volume calculation
– Layout preparation and printing
– Reservoir Height Analysis
– DEM and Contour Formation from Total Station Data
Learning by doing
Group-based project work will be assigned to the participants to revise their learning and add more confidence while executing their learning into the work.
